Funeral for Paul C. Lott, 86, of Decatur will be Mon., Sept. 3, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Barry Henderson officiating.

Burial will be in the Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery at Eva with Masonic Honors. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Lott died on Sat., Sept. 1, 2012, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Oct. 28, 1925, in Morgan County to Alton Leonard Lott and Velma Vivian Brown Lott. He was 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Decatur Blue Star Shriners where he was a Past President. He was very proud of his work with children through the Shriners Hospital. He was an accomplished artist and had several patents on fishing lures. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Frank Lott, Willard Lott and James Lott, and one sister, Vivian Price.

He is survived by his wife, Mavis I. Lott; four sons, Danny Paul Lott, Kenneth Howard Lott and wife Carol, Stephen David Lott and wife Tamara and Mark Dwayne Lott; two daughters, Brenda Jo Conway and husband Larry and Marie L. Nixon and husband Tom; a sister, Shirley Childers and husband Robert; 20 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Charles Conway, Brian Conway, Corey Lott, Chris Lott, Patrick Lott and Tim Hopper will serve as pallbearers.
