Funeral for Glenda Mae Boyer, 62, of Hartselle was Tuesday, Mar. 11, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Johnson officiating.
Burial was in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
Mrs. Boyer died Saturday, Mar. 8, 2008, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Aug. 1, 1945, in Morgan County to Burl Fortenberry and Sarah Lois Wright Fortenberry. She was a member of Hartselle Independent Holy Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Boyer of Hartselle; a son, Shannon Boyer and wife Jaime of Falkville; a daughter Lisa Hartman and husband Brian of Waterloo, Ill; a brother, James Fortenberry of Falkville; two sisters, Virginia Massey and husband Sonny and Elizabeth Fortenberry, all of Falkville; and four grandchildren, Jessica Hartman, Jackie Hartman, Tyer Boyer and Kaitlyn Boyer.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Boyer, Marc Watson, Edgar Slaten, Scott Boyer, Kenneth Fortenberry and Danny Ricks.
