Hankinson, Hillman to wed Nov 4 

Mr. Steve Hankinson of Kingston, Ga. and Mrs. Helen Hankinson of Cartersville, Ga. announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Hankinson, to Zach Hillman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Hillman of Somerville. 

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ms. Judy Lewis of Georgia and Mr. and Mrs. Rob Hankinson of Acworth, Ga.  

Miss Hankinson is a 2019 graduate of Darlington School and 2023 graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in business, Suma Cum Laude.  

Ashley has begun her career with Heatco, Inc. in Cartersville, Ga. 

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. Wayne Riggs and the late Mrs. Louise Riggs of Hamilton; Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Hooks of Pell City; and the late Mike Hillman of Pine Mountain and Sue Hillman of Cullman.  

Mr. Hillman is a 2018 graduate of Hartselle High School and a 2022 graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Cum Laude.  

Zach has passed his Fundamentals of Engineering exam and is working toward his professional engineering license.  He began his career with Advanced Structural Design in Hartselle.  

The wedding is planned for Nov 4, 2023, at Cypress Hills in Auburn. The couple resides in Cartersville, Ga. and is active with their church, Crosspoint City Church and enjoy CrossFit at ATG Crossfit.
