Hartselle Enquirer

Library to host book signing

Special to the Enquirer

Feb. 28 at 10:30 a.m., the William Bradford Huie Library of Hartselle will host a special story time featuring author Tina Hammon.

Hammon is a Hartselle native who has written a children’s book, “Granny and Papa.”

This book isn’t just a story book; it is a remembrance of her time growing up and visiting her grandparents’ farm in Hartselle. This book not only looks back at a simpler way of life but is a reminder of the precious time spent with grandparents and how that shapes a child’s life and gives legacy to a family.

“It is not often we are blessed enough to have an author read their book in person for our story time,” notes library staff. “Please come join us as we welcome Ms. Hammon.”

Hammon will also be available to sign copies of her book. Books must be pre-purchased by patrons from Amazon, Barnes and Noble or Books-a-Million; the library will not have copies available for purchase.
