Bulldogs have playoffs in their sights after missing out in last season

Twelve points. The Bulldogs were 12 points away from a region championship and a trip to the playoffs for the second consecutive season.

Finding a replacement for Jerry Burton, who ran for more than 5,000 yards in his career, is paramount to the success of the Bulldogs this season. Mason Cartee will get the first shot after being Burton’s backup in 2020.

Two-time all-state selection Tyler Cappi will lead the Bulldogs’ offensive and defensive lines.

The Bulldogs open their season Aug. 27 when they host the Brewer Patriots.

For more about the Priceville Bulldogs football team, check out the full story, photos and roster in the 2021 Morgan County Football Magazine, due out Aug. 20.
