One Hartselle arrest was under arrest after a traffic stop led to the discovery of a controlled substance.
Jan. 6 Officer Lesley Sheffield arrested Roger Dale Vinson, 31, of Hartselle for possession of a controlled substance. Vinson was given a $1,000 bond.
Sheffield observed a vehicle near Curry Street in Hartselle with an expired tag. The sole occupant of the vehicle was found to be in possession of oxycodone.
