The Hartselle Parks and Recreation Department recently announced sign-up dates for spring sports. Sports include baseball, softball, soccer and men’s basketball. 

The Parks and Rec Department will be leading the leagues starting with spring sports. The mayor and town council requested the change following the financial issues that occurred this past year in Hartselle’s Dixie Youth baseball league. 

Dixie Youth Baseball 

• Sign up: Jan. 6 through Feb. 7 
• Cost: $120 – includes uniform 
• Season Begins: March 23 

Youth Softball 

• Sign up: Jan. 6 through Feb. 7 
• Cost: $100 – includes uniform 
• Season Begins: March 23 

Youth Soccer 

• Sign up: Jan. 6 through Feb. 20 

• Cost: $75 – includes jersey 
• Season Begins: April 11 

Men’s Basketball League 

• Sign up: Jan. 6-31 
• Cost: $450/team 

Signups will take place at the Hartselle Civic during normal operating hours.
