Town of Priceville holds free active shooter, gun safety program
Priceville Police Chief Rick Williams and Councilman Jerry Welch will hold a free active shooter and gun safety program Aug. 22 from 6-9 p.m.
Williams and Welch, who is also a certified firearms instructor, will cover a variety of topics, including law and imminent danger, choice of weapons and ammo review and what to do in an active shooter situation.
The program will also offer attendees assistance in concealed weapons permit applications. Attendees can also bring old ammunition for safe disposal.
Any Morgan County resident can attend the event free of charge. Young adults must be accompanied by parents.
The event will be held at the Priceville Municipal building, 242 Marco Drive in Priceville. No personal weapons are allowed in municipal building.
