The Hartselle Junior High began planning landscape improvements and shortly after the discussion, a local group decided to lend a helping hand.

When the Rainbow Garden Club learned that Hartselle Junior High was planning landscaping work, they presented the school with a check for $1000 to begin a landscape fund.

The junior high students also became involved in the project by challenging the junior high faculty to a basketball game.  Over $2000 was raised and earmarked for landscaping.

To begin the improvements, Mr. Kyle Woodard, HJHS Agriscience teacher, spent several hours prepping areas of the school. The junior high also received help from Agriscience students and several community members.

Hartselle Junior High plans to continue to update the landscape and prepare the existing beds for trees, plants, and flowers that will be planted in the early fall months.
