Priceville softball update

The Priceville Lady Bulldogs competed in the Decatur softball invitational over the weekend. The games were played under a time limit per tournament rules.
Priceville 4, Athens 1: Athens took the lead first but Priceville’s four run third inning gave them the win. Destinee Hargrove led the Bulldogs in hits with two. Reagan Walter had two RBIs for Priceville while Hargrove and Kathleen Wheeler each finished with one. Ashlyn McDonald picked up the pitching win for Priceville.
Priceville 0, West Morgan 1: West Morgan outhit the Bulldogs in this game 4-1 and that proved to be difference. A walk off single in the fourth gave the Rebels the win. Hannah Wheeler picked up the Bulldog’s only hit in the game.
Priceville 3, Westminster Christian 2: Priceville outhit Westminster in this game 5-2 but Priceville made the most of their hits. Kathleen Wheeler homered in the first inning to give Priceville the lead 1-0. Westminster took the lead back 2-1, but a two run homerun by Kathleen’s sister Hannah Wheeler gave the Bulldogs the win.
Priceville 2, East Limestone 1: Abigail Garrison provided the heroics for Priceville in this game. East Limestone led 1-0 for the first four innings but a walk-off double by Garrison gave Priceville the win 2-1. Madison Beddingfield picked up the pitching win for Priceville as she gave up just four hits and one run in five innings pitched.
Priceville 5, Russellville 4: A four run inning by the Priceville Bulldogs was the big difference in this nail biter of a game. Russellville led 3-0 after the first two and a half innings but four runs by Priceville in the third gave them the lead 4-3. Russellville tied the game at 4-4 but a walk-off single by Abby Hensley gave Priceville the win 5-4. Destinee Hargrove led the Bulldogs in RBIs with three.
Priceville 7, Danville 1: Madison Beddingfield pitched a no hit shutout for the Bulldogs in the win over the Hawks. Abigail Wilson, Sara Beth Wilson and Hannah Wheeler each had two hits for the Bulldogs.
Priceville 0, Westminster 7: Westminster picked up the revenge win over Priceville by shutting them out and keeping the hitless.
