Janie Burleson Halle 83, of Hartselle died Fri., Aug. 19, 2016, at her home. She was born Jan. 25, 1933, in Morgan County to Charles Andrew Brady and Mary Helen Atchley Brady. She was a retired registered nurse, working the last years of her career as a travel nurse but prior to that, she had worked at Decatur General Hospital.

She is survived by her daughter, Connie Teague of Hartselle; a brother, Bob Gilbert of Birmingham; a sister, Dolories Whaley of Greenville, S.C.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

No services are planned for Ms. Halle at this time. Peck Funeral Home is assisting the family.
