Funeral for Evelyn Geraldine Sivley, 92, of Somerville was Thur., Aug. 25, at 2 p.m. at Center Springs United Methodist Church with Pastor Carol Lambert officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Center Springs Cemetery.

Mrs. Evelyn Geraldine Sivley went to be with our Lord and Saviour Mon., Aug. 22, 2016, after an extended illness. She was born Oct. 2, 1923, in Morgan County to Maurice Clinton Sharp and Hessie V. McGee Sharp. She was a homemaker, a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Floyd Sivley; her parents; three brothers; and three sisters. The family wishes to thank Hospice of the Valley for their loving care.

She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Little of Somerville and Jo Ann Turner (Cecil) of Decatur; four grandchildren, Robin Turner Higdon (Michael), Gayla Turner Bailey, Chad Graydon (Miriaha) and Patrick Graydon (Brandi); eight great-grandchildren; and a step great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley, P.O. Box 2745, Decatur, AL 35602.
