Funeral for William “Dub” Suit, 81, was Wed., April 20, at 1 p.m. at Calvary Holiness Church with the Rev. Jimmy Morrow officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Valhermoso Holiness Cemetery.

Mr. Suit died Mon., April 18, 2016, at Crestwood Medical Center. He was born April 14, 1935, in Cullman County to Doiley Thomas Suit and Gladys Geneva Johnson Suit. He was a sawmill manager for the Diamond Wood Treaters Company. He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; and a sister, Dorothy Brown.

He is survived by four daughters, Linda Gail Suit Artz, Barbara Ann Smith, Bea Suit and Kylee Mary Suit, all of Valhermoso Springs; four brothers, Johnsy Suit, Doiley Suit Jr., Mack Suit, and Michael Suit, all of Valhermoso Springs; a sister, Diane Couch of Athens; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Kane Ralph, Avery Ralph, John Suit, Harvey Trussle, Bud Smith, Maison Howard, Cody Smith, Aaron Howard, Shawn Wilson and J.T. Smith.
