A graveside service for Douglas Wayne Eddy, 63, of Falkville was Mon., Nov. 23, at 3 p.m.at Salem Cemetery with Bro. Tom Watson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Eddy died Sun., Nov. 22, 2015, at his residence. He was born March 21, 1952, in Morgan County to Gurney Edward Eddy and Fran Reithmaier Eddy. He was a member in good standing of Daystar Church, saved by grace and baptized in the Holy Spirit. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Dwight Eddy; and a sister, Kathy Jean Eddy.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Eddy of Falkville; two sons, Michael Eddy (Cindy) of Hartselle and Douglas Eddy of Decatur; a daughter, Melissa Eddy Thompson (Chris), of Hartselle; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were Rendell Drummond, Scott Hall, Kenny Crutchfield, Trent Reed, Donnie Long and Mark Rodgers.
