Homer Hyres Landrum

A graveside service for Homer Hyres Landrum, 86, of Hartselle, will be Sat., Nov. 14, at noon in Cedar Creek Cemetery with Bro. Tony Riley officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be Sat., Nov. 14, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:40 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home.

Mr. Landrum died at Riverside Senior Living Center in Decatur on Nov. 12, 2015. He was a teacher and administrator during his career for the Hartselle City and Decatur City School systems. He taught for a total of 36 years. Mr. Landrum was also a member of the Shriners Club for many years. He was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Hartselle. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Elese Landrum.

He is survived by two daughters, June Landrum of Decatur and Cindy Kamelchuk (Lee) of Huntsville; and two grandchildren, Riley and Laura Kamelchuk.
