Funeral for Jeannie Grissom, 67, was Wed., Aug. 19, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Smith officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Hartselle Memory Garden.

Mrs. Grissom died Mon., Aug. 17, 2015, at her residence. She was born Sept. 1, 1947, in Haleyville to Loyce Robert Southern and Myrtle Posey Southern. She was a homemaker and a member of Beltline Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Danny O. Grissom of Hartselle; two daughters, Julie Grissom Hunter (Mark) of Huntsville and Emily Grissom Hoffner (Edde) of Circleville, Ohio; three grandchildren, Katherine, Sam and Andrew Hunter.

Pallbearers were John Clemons, Gary Hill, Donnie Lane, Greg Tanksley, Richard Talley and Houston Turney.
