From start to finish the dual enrollment welding class at Hartselle High School, as well as the agri-science classes at Hartselle Junior High, built two utility trailers during the past spring semester. There were 16 high school students involved and 16 junior high students.

The project began with an all night build on April 3, 2015. The dual enrollment class stayed all night working, while the younger junior highs left at midnight.

To kick off the event the students were treated to barbeque cooked on sight, along with sides and desserts provided by parents of the students.

Lone Wolf Trailer of Falkville provided the axles and other parts for the trailer. West End Methodist Church also provided breakfast for the group for the morning after the all night build.

Zeb Feguson, welding instructor from Calhoun and dual enrollment teacher, and Kyle Woodard, HJHS agri-science teacher, worked with the group on the project to build a 5×8 and a 6×12 utility trailers. The two groups will use the finished products for various projects. The groups finished both trailers before the end of school and the work looked very professional.
