Funeral service for Roy Allen Goodwin, 64, was Sat, May 23, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hal Daigre officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Nelson Hollow Cemetery at Somerville.

Mr. Goodwin died Thur., May 21, 2015, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born April 3, 1951, in Cullman County to James Floyd Goodwin and Rosia

Lee Nelson Goodwin. He was retired from the Tyson Chicken Company and was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by three sons, Paul Joseph “Pee Wee” Goodwin and Ronald Lee Goodwin, both of Somerville and James Floyd Goodwin Jr. of Hartselle; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were family and friends.
