Richard Wayne Vrastiak

A memorial service for Richard Wayne Vrastiak, 75, of Cullman will be Fri., May 15, at 11 a.m. at White Grove Baptist Church in Cullman County with Bro. Charles York officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be Fri., May 15, 2015, from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the church.

Mr. Vrastiak died Sat., May 9, 2015, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born April 7, 1940, in Cook County, Ill., to John Joseph Vrastiak and Dorothy Bernice Quetler Vrastiak. He worked for Duo-Fast Corporation for 45 years in Chicago, Ill., and has lived in Alabama for nine years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and John Vrastiak and a brother, Tom Vrastiak.

He is survived by a son, Robert Lanningham (Annette) of Good Hope; a brother, Jim Vrastiak ( Ada) of Wisconsin; a sister, Dee Reid, (Jerry) of Maine; three grandchildren, Ginnette, Austin and Christy; and friend, Linda Adamson of Cullman.
