Relay for Life Calendar for April 8

A calendar of events for the Relay for Life of Morgan Hartselle

 

The next team meeting will be: April 27 at 6 p.m. at Hartselle Church of Christ.

 

Luminarias can be purchased  in honor, memory or support of a loved one for $10 at relayforlife.org. Proceeds will benefit the event, team or participant chosen.

 

Peck-Glasgow’s Relay for Life team will be raffling off a one-hour photo session with a CD of photos by Jodi Hyde Photography. Tickets are $5 each for the $255 value session. The drawing for the winner will be picked the night of Hartselle’s Relay for Life prior to the luminary event. Tickets can be purchased at the Peck-Glasgow office at any time or from a Peck-Glasgow associate.

 

April 11

The West Hartselle Baptist Church Relay Team will host a four-player scramble Relay for Life Golf Tournament at the Point Mallard Golf Course April 11.

Cost is $80 per player.

May 11-15

Hartselle Relay for Life will sponsor Paint the Town Purple in honor of cancer awareness May 11-15. Purple bows will be sold. Everyone is encouraged to decorate the outside of their homes, businesses and churches with purple.

 

May 11

The annual dinner honoring cancer survivors will be at the First United Methodist Church Mon., May 11.

 

May 12

A Bank Night will be held Tues., May 12, to collect all money that still needs to be turned in by team leaders at the Hartselle High School library.

 

May 15

The annual Hartselle Relay for Life event will be May 15 from 6 p.m. to midnight at J.P. Cain Stadium.

Entertainment will include music, food, sporting tournaments and more.

Everyone is invited to join in the fun and support Hartselle’s Relay for Life teams.
