Funeral for Mary Yates Borden, 63, of Decatur will be Mon., March 2, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Marshal White officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Pine Torch Cemetery. Visitation will be Mon., March 2, from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Borden died on Thur., Feb. 26, 2015. She was born May 18, 1951, in Jasper, Alabama to Joel Eli Yates and Agnes Evelyn McCain Yates. She was a member of the Holy Church of Christ of Hartselle, (Independent Church of Christ). She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Timothy.

She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer L. White (Marshal) of Decatur and Julie Orr (James) of Hartselle; two brothers, Steve Yates of Madison and Roger Yates (Laurie) of Dothan; a sister, Donna Bishop (Jerry) of Falkville; four grandchildren, Wesley, Shauna, Jada and Alleyiah; and a host of nephews and a niece.
