Line dance classes taught at Senior Center

Line dance classes are being taught at the Falkville Senior Center on Tuesdays at 10 a.m.

The center is located on Culver Road. For more information, call 256-784-5909.

Members of First Baptist Church Falkville extend birthday wishes to Paul Morgan on Jan. 19, John Nelson on Jan. 23, Alfred Bryan on Jan. 25, Donna Ayre Stooks Berry and Janie Brath, both on Jan. 26, and June Walling on Jan. 29.

The Joy Sunday school class of First Baptist Church Falkville was hostess for a family night supper at the fellowship hall of the church Wed., Jan. 14.

The buffet style supper consisted of meats, salads, desserts and a variety of vegetables.

Jake and Kathy Patterson have a new baby boy. Jax Owen Patterson was born Dec. 16, 2014, in Fort Knox, Ky.

He weighed 9 pounds, 4 ounces and was 21 inches long. His grandparents are Alice and Jurdy Hughes Sr. of Priceville and the late Wendell Patterson and the late Laurie Murphy McRae.

Jax made his first trip to North Alabama this past week.

Bob and Patricia Ramey enjoyed dinner at their home in Falkville with Jake, Kathy and Jax Patterson, Barry Ramey and Andrew Ramey.

The First Baptist Falkville WMU hosted a baby shower for Jeff and Tiffany Caudill on Sun., Jan. 18.

The Baptist young women served 40 guests a beautiful array of finger foods and cake. The baby’s breath flowers and blue polka dots set the theme of a baby boy.
