Hartselle Intermediate School

Dear Santa,

Every kid nowadays wants things that you buy with money, like a bike, books trading cards, or whatever else money can buy. This year, I would like more than that. this Christmas and every Christmas after that, for all of the time it takes me to live, I have only one wish. My lifelong wish is for world knowledge.

Now, I know that it is going to be hard for you, but I will make a deal. If I believe in you my whole entire life, you can deliver my exelent gift, plus, you have all of my life to work on your “special present” for me. As you know, I have not wished for very much my whole entire life, and old man, you had better help. I do not care how you do it, but please get it done. Just raise every schools graduation rate until it is one hundred percent, or enlarge the brain’s learning center, or make every school a relaxed, stress-free place that kids enjoy. Please do it, and I will do anything to help.

Sincerely,

Eavan Matthews

Dear Santa,

My family tradition for Christmas is we get ready for the holidays. I wake up on December morning with the smell of coffee swirling around my house. When I go downstairs and realize that my mom and dad have woke up early this morning and set up the Christmas tree.

On Saturday when everyone has waken up from their slumbers we get up more decorations inside the house and outside. My dad is hard at work setting up decorations outside, my mom hanging wreaths upon our doors. Then we go to the store to buy some more stuff including milk and cookies for you.

After that we hang ordamants on the biggest tree in our house. Thinking of when we were in kindergarten making ordaments to hang on this tree. The next day we go to our family members houses and eat and celebrate Christmas. On Christmas Eve night we go to my grandmothers house and open presents she got for us. Then I go home and sleep waiting for you to come down the chimney leaving present for us to open. then Christmas morning after we open our presents, family comes over and we play Dirty Santa. I’ve won really cool things so I hope I got something good this year. Well thats how my family celebrates Chrismas.

Sincerly,

Brody Wade

Dear Santa,

Every year my family have on elf on the shelf that comes to our house. His name is Clyde. Every morning when I wake up he is in a new spot after he comes from the North Pole. We put up our Christmas tree and put lights around our house. On Christmas Eve me and my brother open one present. One year we gave something to an orphan at the orphanage and her name was Angel.

On Christmas Eve we make a gingerbread house with gingerbread man. We put mom’s skittles, and gummies on the gingerbread house. We also put cookies and milk out. One year we made M&M and chocolate chip cookies

When it snows, me and my brother always go out and play in the snow. One year we were playing in the church yard because the house that my mom lives in is by the church and my nana bent down and I smashed a snowball in her face. Me and my family have some good traditions.

Sincerly,

Cole Lewis

Dear Santa,

Hi Santa, I’m going to tell you what I wish for this Christmas. I wish I would’ve been able to spend at least one more Christmas with my great grandmother because my great grandmother is special to me and I love her very much and I miss her very, very, very much. Every Christmas we would get her a money tree because Christmas day was also her birthday and she loved those money trees. I just wish she could be here with me this Christmas because seeing her face with a smile on it every Christmas just warms my heart and not only does she have a smile on her face just every Christmas but also everyday too. She is always so happy no matter what and she is the nicest person I know. I would hate to celebrate this Christmas without her. I love and miss her so much. I’m so sad that she won’t be here with me and my family this Christmas but I’m also happy because she is in a better place now. She is an angel looking down on us from Heaven and I know that this Christmas she will smiling at us and she is really lucky this Christmas because she will get to spend this Christmas with God in Heaven.

Sincerly,

Jayla Dozier

Dear Santa,

We just put our tree up, and we all decorated our tree with ordaments that we did in elementary school. On December 24 every year my aunt does a party and she invents the whole family. We have games, food, and other things. When you win a game you get to pick out a price. One of the games is that you have to pops more ballons wins. Last year my sister won. We also played musical chairs. Another one was you had to have a spoon in your mouth with an real egg on it, and try not to drop it. The last game is when you get three ballons and put it around your ankle, and try to keep all three. We all have fun.

Sincerly,

Alondra

Dear Santa,

I have always wanted to tell you what I do every year as a tradition. The main thing my family does as a tradition is take down the tree that was stored in the attic, and take down the decorations. As soon as we get that done, we proudly put our beautiful miscellaneous ornaments on our enormous green as can get, prickly tree.

While putting up the ornaments, we admire how beautiful it looks. We see i we left out anything. If we missed a spot we would put some extra ornaments on it. Sometimes we just put up half of the ornaments.

The main thing Christmas is about is not just about presents and getting things. It’s also about the celebration of the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ!

Sincerely,

Paisley Coffman

Dear Santa,

The best gift I’ve ever gotten was a basketball ball goal. When I woke up the box was in our living room but none of the parts were in it. I looked outside and by our driveway was a brand new basketball goal. My parents told me that they guessed the elves had some free time and decided to go ahead and build it. I got this present about 3 or 4 years ago, and now I kind of need a new one. It was raining on that Christmas so I didn’t even get to shoot. The next day though it was sunny so I went out and shot. Even though it was cold. The biggest thing was that we could lower it to about half feet so we could dunk it. So thats what we did. It takes awhile to lower the basketball goal though, that’s the only down side. Now like 3 or 4 years later the backboard is cracked, the rim is broken and the part you fill with water is leaking. So yeah, I think I might need a knew one.

Sincerly,

Graham Ellis

Dear Santa,

The one thing that I want for Christmas this year is beyond any gift is, to be with my mom and everything be okay. and to be able to have a relationship with her. Also to know that she loves me. Also for all of my family to get along. And we all have a great Christmas. Because my family means alot to me and to see them not get along it hurts my heart. I just want everyone to be happy. And just to be perfectly honest no human can do that. It takes an act of God or a miricle. Also I have another just to be perfectly honest no lies moment. I don’t want that just for me. Really and truely I want that for every single kid with problems at home or some type of family issues or anything else. I wish that those kids have the best Christmas ever as well.

Sincerley,

Emily Evans

Dear Santa,

I am going to tell you some Christmas traditions my family does during Christmas. One thing is that every Christmas morning my mom bakes a sausage roll for us to eat for breakfast. Another tradition is that we always put up a Christmas tree and buy a new ornament to put on the tree. My family always waits until everyone is at my house and has their presents passed out to open them. Sometimes some of my family, usually the family that lives at my house and my brother, go and see a movie on Christmas eve. My family always says Christmas gift to try and get each other, it is kind of like a punch bug. All my family brings some food and we combine it all together. I allways go to more than one place for Christmas, wich is usually my mom’s family and my dad’s family. Usually me and my sister get to open a present one day early, but sometimes my mom makes us wait. A lot o time my grand mother will come and spend the night on Christmas eve. We rarely have wite Christmases, but when we do me and my sister make snow men and take pictures with them. We allways decorate our house. These are my familys’ Christmas traditions.

Sincerly,

Daniel Hunter

Dear Santa,

My family celebrates all kind of different traditions. The main and most common one is putting up the tree and decorating with ordements we made or bought ourselves. We also make a large christmas breakfast and dinner. The christmas breakfast is amazing, it includes bacon, eggs, pancakes, biskets, waffles and other amazing things. And the dinner also envolves amazing Foods to enjoy. in the morning the first thing we do is look in our stockings and get early presents. The worst thing about looking in our stockings is it gets you excited about oppening presents. Also christmas shopping, and that the worst because you allways see something you like and cant get. One of my favorites is my grandmas homeaid cookies and fudge. Now the best part is opening your presents and watching people open presents you gave them. Then when we get home and play with them is the best of the traditions our family do.

Sincerly,

Logan Blaylock

Dear Santa,

Every year on the first day of December my family pulls the dust covered box from the pile of junk in the close. We then hang the ornaments on the tree along with the homemade one’s.Then on Christmas Eve we always go to my grandparents and eat. We always recieve gifts from our siblings.

On Christmas day we leap down the stairs to discover all the presents under the tree. Then we go to my other grandparents and we eat there too. We then go home and look at our stuff. My brother is always a baby but is excited. Then we drive around looking at lights. Most of the time I get what I asked for but other times I dont. My brother always get what he asked for. I really hope we will do the same this year too.

Sincerely,

Hagen Smith

Dear Santa,

My wish for Christmas is to meet my favorite rally and trick driver, Ken Block. I have looked up to him since I was ten years old. I think that he is the best car driver ever. I’ve watched every one of his trick driving videos on Youtube over a million times. I love to see all of the amazing tricks and maneuvers that he does in his preformance cars. He uses an old Ford Mustang to trick drive and a Ford Fiesta as a rally car. I get chills sometimes from watching him do some of the most daredevilish stunts ever. I am so amazed by his work. He sponsors tons of companies. Almost every company’s logo goes onto each of his cars. He sponsors Monster Energy, GoPro, Hoonigan, Castrol, Need for Speed, and tons more. He preforms stunts at conventions that he sets up all over the world. He has over one million fans, but for Christmas, I’d like to be one of the lucky bunch that is actually able to meet him in person.

Sincerely,

Mekhi Kalil
