Alvilene Roberts Legg

Funeral for Alvilene Roberts Legg, 81, of Hartselle will be Sat., Oct. 25, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Elliott Gordon officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Sat., Oct. 25, from 11 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Legg died on Thur., Oct. 23, 2014, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born Aug. 18, 1933, in Morgan County to Alvie Jones Roberts and Oler Ellen (Sybert) Roberts. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was formerly employed at Hartselle Medical Center in the Admitting Department. She was a member of Oak Ridge Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Legg, Hartselle; three daughters, Jennifer Gillott of Hartselle, Donna Legg-Battles (Guy), Hartselle and Nerissa Appleton (Tommy) of Hartselle; six grandchildren, Meagan Weldon (Barry), Noah Battles, Jared Appleton (Heather), Seth Battles,
Alyssa Appleton and Sarah Ellen Battles.
Pallbearers will be Guy Battles, Tommy Appleton, Jared Appleton, Noah Battles, Charles Driver and Kyle Kirby.
