The Class 4A Lady Bulldogs compiled a 27-5 record and advanced to the Final 8 in the playoffs.

“Peyton was a leader for our team,” Nelson pointed out. “She is a fighter and a player with great self-discipline. She demonstrated that by coming back from two knee injuries and having an outstanding senior season.

“Emily excelled as a hard worker and is very athletic,” Nelson said. “She also has a winning spirit.

“Both have accomplished so much and served as good role models,” Nelson added. “I made sure all of our players were here for the signing. I wanted them to see what an athlete can accomplish with dedication and hard work.”

Both players were chosen as All-Regional Tournament players as seniors.
