Funeral for Jack D. Raley, 78, of Hartselle will be Fri., Jan. 10, at 7 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Charles Erwin and Michael Gunter officiating.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until service time at the funeral home on Friday.

Mr. Raley, who died Wed., Jan. 8, 2014, at his home in Hartselle, was born Oct. 27, 1935, in Cullman County to James Marlin Raley and Jennie Mary Grey Raley.He retired from AT&T as a cable repairman after 39 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Bettie Ann Holloway Raley; three sons, Billy J. Raley of Houston, Steven C. Raley of Decatur and James D. Raley of Hartselle; two daughters, Cindy K. Bryant of Arley and Karen R. Raley of Hartselle; a brother, Tommy Raley of Decatur; and sister, Linda Parker of Vista, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.
