Lorene Oden Roberts

Funeral for Lorene Oden Roberts, 95, of Eva was Tue., Dec. 3, at 11 a.m. at Rock Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Tony Tidwell and Dr. Shane Lewis officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Oden Ridge Cemetery (Macedonia).

Ms. Roberts died on Sat., Nov. 30, 2013 at Riverside Assisted Living. She was born March 12, 1918, in Morgan County to Henry Olivus Oden and Julia Louisa Patrick Oden. She was a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church and faithfully attended and served until health prohibited. She taught Sunday School for over 50 years. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her parents; and all of her brothers and sisters, Tweedell Oden, Mevit Oden, Trixie Oden Drinkard, Noah Oden and Plimer Oden.

She is survived by two sons, Fred A Roberts and wife Kathy of Priceville and Joe D. Roberts and wife Janice of Decatur; two daughters, Angie Roberts Smith and Angia Roberts Smith, both of Eva; five grandchildren, David Roberts and wife Cassie, Stephanie Roberts Risberg and husband Forest, Logan Roberts, Karan Roberts and Brandon Smith; six great-grandchildren; six grandchildren by love, Anthony Flack, Tawnya Flack Sanders, Robert Bilstein, JoHelen Bilstein Patrick, Miranda Jones Bahr and Sam Jones.

Pallbearers were David Roberts, Logan Roberts, D.H. Oden, Thaddaeus Drinkard, Darryl Ford, Forest Risberg.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Rock Creek Baptist Church for the Brazil Mission Trip.
