Joe Ramey Maxwell

Funeral for Joe Ramey Maxwell, 71, of Somerville will be Thur., Oct. 10, at 4:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.

Mr. Maxwell died Sun., Oct. 6, 2013, at his residence. He was born Oct.16, 1941, in Morgan County to John Durward Maxwell and Ruby Turney Maxwell. He served in the Alabama Army National Guard and was a retired supervisor from Prestolite and Design Force Companies. He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce Marie Maxwell and his parents.

He is survived by two sons, Shayne Maxwell and wife Tracey and Brett Maxwell and wife Aladie, both of Somerville; a sister, Mary Lane of Huntsville; five grandchildren, Jordan Maxwell, Taylor Maxwell, Tucker Maxwell, Noah Maxwell and Emma Maxwell.
