Bert Chatham

A graveside service for Bert Chatham, 57, of Huntsville will be Wed., Oct. 2, at 11a.m. at Decatur City Cemetery with Bro. Michael Gunter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Chatham died Mon., Sept. 30, 2013, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Feb. 8, 1956, in Jackson, Mississippi to Griffin Berchmans Chatham and Kathleen McLaughlin Chatham. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Kathy Chatham and Elizabeth Hammond.

He is survived by two brothers, Frank Chatham of Auburn and Mark Chatham and wife Polly of Huntsville; two sisters, Angela Norris and husband James of Decatur and Imelda C. Fisher, both of Decatur; brother-in-law, Don Hammond, of Decatur; a nephew, Josh Fisher; and a niece, Catherine Hammond Mulloland and Mary.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Ability Plus, 1040 Research Blvd, Suite 160, Madison, AL 35758
