Dump truck overturns on Ala. 36, one injured

A dump truck carrying a load of gravel overturned on Alabama 36 East just east of Roan Road in downtown Hartselle Friday morning.

The truck driver was injured and was transported to Huntsville Hospital by a MedFlight helicopter. Hartselle Fire and Rescue officials used extrication tools to rescue the driver.

The driver’s identity and condition was not immediately available.
