Kelsoe, Weatherby to exchange vows

Marty and Sheila Kelsoe of Danville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Beth Kelsoe, to Dathern Wade Weatherby, son of Waylon and Cindy Weatherby of Danville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Buddy Kelsoe and Doris Kelsoe of Speake and the late Eulus and Addie Bee Hill of Danville. She is a graduate of Athens State University with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education.

She is currently employed with Morgan County Schools as a second grade teacher at Danville-Neel Elementary School.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Annie Smith of Danville, the late Dathern Smith of Danville and the late Jim Weatherby of Georgia. He is a graduate of Danville High School and is currently employed with Decatur Rubber & Gasket of Decatur.

The couple will exchange vows during a private ceremony at the home of the bride’s parents on June 1, 2013.
