Funeral for Lonnie Collins, 68, of Lacey’s Spring will be Fri., April 19, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Shane Lewis officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Valhermoso Holiness Cemetery. Visitation will be Thur., April 18, from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Collins died Tues., April 16, 2013, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Jan. 8, 1945, in Morgan County to George Collins and Zora Bates Collins. Mr. Collins was a former employee of Home Pest Control as a Termite Inspector. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Lisa Collins Renz; and a sister, Rachel Yates.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Duke Collins of Lacey’s Spring; a son, Tony Collins of Laceys Spring; an adopted daughter, Jessica Renz of Lacey’s Spring; a sister, Georgia Shedd of Cullman; and four grandchildren, Stephanie Renz, Dusty Collins, Kandi Collins and Ashley Kuehner.

Pallbearers will be Rodney Duke, Michael Duke, Bo Truss, Nathan Truss, Rickey Lee Taylor and Dusty Collins.
