Godsey said this year’s senior class, which finished their careers with a 45-10 record in grades 9-12, was the epitome of what he wants in a football program.
“They’re what Hartselle football is all about – toughness, competitors,” Godsey said. “That’s what I want us to be about are guys like them, Deacon, Blake, Blair Sittason, Thomas Fleischman, just go down the list – that whole senior class. That’s what I want Hartselle football to be about.”
