Hartselle football achieves top 100 national ranking

The Hartselle football team has been ranked 87th nationally by MaxPreps, according to its latest rankings released Tuesday.
The Tigers are only one of three Alabama football teams to achieve a top 100 ranking. Hoover is the highest rated state football team at 18th while Clay-Chalkville was ranked 51st. Both schools are in Class 6A.
Hartselle will play at Athens Friday at 7 p.m.
