New Center Baptist plans yard sale

By now most all of our area schools have begun their 2012-2013 school term. I’m sure it will take a few weeks to get back to your regular routines. Not only does school starting remind me that the fall season is not too far away but the days are getting shorter along with the change in our temperatures. I think that fall is my best time of the year.

Happy birthday wishes go out this week to: Jerry Ferrell and Joel Kiefer on August 20, Landon Robinson on August 21, Larry Kirkpatrick, Bunzie Blankenship and Dylan Dean on August 22, Stephanie Cowan and Ty Rayman on August 23, Greg Spicer on August 24, Austin Barton, Hollie Parker, Trevor Shadden, Vona Keeling and Larry Swearengin on August 25, Logan Ferguson on August 26.

Happy anniversary to Kevin and Aimee Beal on August 20 and Steve and Gina Aguado on August 21, Max and Pamela Robinson on August 21, Charley and Sherry Yeager on August 23.

It’s a grandson! Congratulations to Steve and Elaine on the birth of their grandson, Jetton Ray Lawrimore born Friday, August 3, 2012, weighing seven pounds, seven ounces. Proud parents are Welsey and Jade Jetton Lawrimore and a proud great-grandmother is Gertrude Hardin.

Looking for a place for your unwanted items? New Center Baptist Church has announced plans for a mission yard sale September 28-29. All proceeds will go for the Mexico mission trip October 21-26. So start cleaning out those closets and your garage and contact the church.
