VBS in Hartselle area

Tunsel Road Baptist Church, West Hartselle Baptist Church, Flint Baptist Church, East Highland Baptist Church and Liberty Baptist Church are among the churches in the Hartselle area planning to host vacation Bible school in June.

Here is a current list of churches sponsoring VBS:

Tunsel Road Baptist Church will conduct vacation Bible school Sat., June 9, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. All children from kindergarten through sixth grade are invited. Breakfast, lunch and a snack will be served. For more information, call Linda Pitts at 256-309-7663.

West Hartselle Baptist Church will hold VBS June 10 through 13. Sunday, June 10, 9:45 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, June 11 through 13, 9:45 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Family Night will be Wednesday, June 13, at 6:30 p.m. VBS is for children that have completed kindergarten through fifth grade.

Flint Baptist Church, located at 4119 Hwy 31 S in Decatur, will conduct vacation Bible School June 11-15, beginning at 6 p.m. each day. The theme will be “Amazing Wonders.” A kick-off picnic is planned for Sun., June 10, at 11:45 a.m. in the picnic shelter behind the church. For more information, call 256-353-7429.

East Highland Baptist Church will hold VBS June 11 through 15. from 9 a.m. until noon. The theme for this year will be “Amazing Wonders Aviation.” The church is located at 1030 Main Street East in Hartselle. For more information call the church at 256-773-4157. Liberty Baptist Church, located at 1206 Lane Road in Hartselle, will have vacation Bible school June 22-24. The VBS is entitled Rocky Point Light House. For more information, call 256-773-6146.
