Annual banquet to benefit Fine Arts Center

The Hartselle High School Jazz Band provided entertainment for the Fine Arts Center benefit and silent auction in 2011. This year, College Street Players will feature several of its productions from the past year. | File

The Hartselle Fine Arts Center will look a lot like Paris this weekend.

The center’s 12th annual Benefit and Silent Auction will be held Friday and Saturday and the theme is “An Evening In Paris.”

Just like last year, the center will have a silent auction preview and early bidding on Fri., April 20, from 5-8 p.m.

Then on Sat., April 21, the silent auction will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by the dinner and entertainment at 7 p.m.

College Street Players will be providing the entertainment for this year’s event. The theater company will feature several of its productions throughout the past year.

Proceeds from the benefit will go toward the center’s ramp and elevator project, which will help making the facility handicap accessible. Construc-tion for the project is scheduled to begin in the near future.

For more information, please call 256-773-4046. Please note that you do not have to pay to come to the silent auction.
