Danville-Neel honor students are recognized

Bro. John Bain celebrated his 56th birthday Fri., Jan 13, by having lunch with his mom and brother, Danny, and a birthday supper with his wife Terri and their family. Two days earlier, on Jan. 11, he turned in a “Project in Ministry” report to the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He still has a few more hoops to make in his doctoral program but expects to receive his doctorate next May.

Special belated happy birthday wishes go out to Belinda Vest and Ken Clark, both on Jan. 15. Tina Long on Jan. 18, Nik Newell on Jan. 19 and Helen Taylor on Jan. 20.

Shady Grove Baptist Church members sent out prayers and love this week to Kayla Terrell, Rick Cannon. LeAnn Lamar, Cecil Ransom, Perry Ham-pton, Don L. Allen, Shirley Bibb, Stephanie Hyde, Chuck Honer, Blondie Morris, Erline Ballew, Janis Spinks, Tina Long, Delbert Vest, Rhonda Lindsey, Eunice Chappell, Gloria Hadder, Barbara Gillespie and Jerry Jordan.

Get well wishes are extended to my friend, Johnny Fenlayson, who is recuperating from a fall.

Christian love and prayers are extended to the family of Jimmy and Irene Morgan in the recent loss of Jimmy’s dad. May God be with all of you during you time of sadness.
