Bethel students make donations

Shawn Metzgar, Cole Schmidt, Cassie Bunner and Morgan Starrett and other Bethel Baptist School students demonstrated the true meaning of Christmas by purchasing presents for the Neighborhood Christian Center Christmas Toy Store in Decatur and delivering them on Fri., Dec. 16. The students spent the morning helping the NCC organize and distribute the gifts to children of needy families in the area. | Special to the Enqiurer

Bethel Baptist School recently made donations for Christmastime.

Ellie Metzgar and Rees Letson were among a group of Bethel Bible School students who delivered necessity items to the Lexi House in Somerville last week. The Lexi House is a non-profit ministry that seeks to meet the needs of young women with children. The project was adopted earlier this school year by Bethel’s kindergarten and elementary students, in lieu of exchanging gifts with each other at Christmastime. | Special to the Enquirer
