A graveside service for Bobby Ray Hughes, 60, of Hartselle will be Fri., Dec. 16, at 11 a.m. at Polk Memorial Garden in Columbia, Tenn. with the Rev. Shane Britt officiating and Carr & Erwin Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be Thur., Dec. 15, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Hughes died Tues, Dec. 13, 2011, at Limestone Health Care in Athens.

He was born Jan. 16, 1951, in Limestone County to David Hughes and Evelyn Hughes.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Ken Hughes, former co-owner of the Mater Shack Fruit Stand in Hartselle.

He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Hughes of Falkville; two sons, Robert Lewis Hughes and wife Charlesa and Devon Bryant, both of Pulaski, Tenn.; five daughters, Tonya Rae Lapham of Georgia, Melissa Hughes and husband Terry Fralix of Athens, Brandy Hughes of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., Amanda Hughes of Louisville, Ky. and Sarah Hughes of Pulaski, Tenn.; and 12 grandchildren.
