Congratulations Lady Patriot softball team

The Lady Patriots softball team 12 and under finished in third place in their recent tournament competition. The girls had a good a season and lots of fun. Coaches Alex Kent and Jennifer Hayes complimented the girls on their successful season.
Team players were Julie Daugette, Kayla Dean, Summer Rice, Alyson Presto, Jada Rollins, Lauren McKey, Anna Kent, Hannah Isrell, Maddie Kempson, Audrey Cryer, Jeannie Moore and Camryn Wright.
The Cotaco Indians eight and under baseball team finished third in a tournament, which was played in Falkville recently.
Somerville Assembly held its first service on Sunday morning. A special memorial service was held following the service in memory of Bro. Jerry Grimes. Twenty-five people attended the services. Among those attending was Bro. Buddy Mitchell. Pastor Jacob Daugette and congregation invite anyone who does not currently have a home church.
A big hello goes out this week to Mary Nelson, Doris Powers and Linda Fraizer.
Prayers and deepest sympathy go out to the family and friends of Chris Parker who passed away last Friday.
Happy birthday wishes and much love go out to Carolyn Grimes from members of Somerville Assembly.
Jeannie Moore enjoyed eating out with her dad, James, Moore, on Thursday night.
Jaden Moore enjoyed spending time with her dad on Saturday,
Dinner guests of Vickey Daugette on Sunday were Julie Daugette, Jayla Daugette, Jacob and Ashley Daugette, Jeannie, Jacob and Jaden Moore and Jack and Faith Kemp.
