Funeral for E. Leon Hill, 76, of Moulton, formerly of Massey, was Fri., Oct. 1, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Scotty Hogan and Billy Gable officiating.
Burial was in Andrews Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Hill died Tue., Sept. 28, 2010, at his residence. He was born Dec. 29, 1933, in Morgan County to William Oscar Hill and Honor Hopper Hill. He was married to his wife Barbara for 57 years. He was preceded in death by a brother, Albert Hill; three sisters, Louise Kelley, Helen Greer and Wilma Austin; and his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Hill; a son, Phillip Hill and wife Ronda of Moulton; a daughter, Vickie Shadden and husband Steve of Danville; two sisters, Martha Thomas of Hartselle and Eva Hogan of Falkville; a brother-in-law, Bob Austin of Tennessee; two grandchildren, Leslie Childers and Hannah Shadden; a great-grandchild, Dirk Childers; two stepgrandchildren, Wesley Crunk and Stephanie Morgan; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ricky Kelley, Hilton Kelley, Anthony Kelley, Mack Orr, Larry Morgan, Gwen Morgan, Jerry Williams, Timothy Roberts, Darrell Speakman and Clayton Blackwood.
A special thanks to Alacare Hospice and Zora Orr, Mack Orr and Joe Orr for their help and kindness during his illness.
