A graveside service for Edward Lee Jackson, 73, of Hartselle was Friday, July 30, at 3 p.m. at Burningtree Memorial Gardens with Howard Leslie officiating.
Mr. Jackson died Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at Whitesburg Gardens Health Care Center in Huntsville. He was born September 25, 1936, in Morgan County to Roy Lee Jackson and Nannie Jane Anders Jackson. He was retired from Fruehauf as a maintenance supervisor. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Jean Jackson; a son, Joe Jackson; and a sister, Marie Louise Jackson.
He is survived by a daughter, Brandy Steele of Hartselle; a sister, Betty Jean Vefterman; and two grandchildren, Taylor Steele and Dylah Jackson.
