Hodge Hayes

Funeral for Hodge Hayes, 91, of Arley, formerly of Hartselle, will be Thur. (today), April 15, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Glenn Wood officiating.

Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. Hayes died Mon., April 12, 2010, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Sept. 15, 1918, in Tennessee. He was a lifelong mechanic in Hartselle.

He is survived by his wife, Delpha Hayes of Arley, formerly of Hartselle; three sons, Lathern Hayes and Lamon Hayes, both of Arley and Lanny Hayes; a daughter, Sharon Bryant of Massey; four brothers, Luke Hayes and Wendell Hayes, both of Cullman, Lynch Hayes of Morris and Billy Hayes of Double Springs; four sisters, Jewel Beaupre of Maine, Sally Parkhurst and Sadie Beaupre, both of Birmingham and Betty Sue Andrews of Michigan; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jody Borden, Jamie Borden, Allen Hayes, Brian Hayes, Teddy Herchenhann and Jerry Herchenhann.
