A look back

By By Dr. Bill Stewart
We’ve had a lot of questions about Dr. Bill Steart, the popular columnist who pens our A Look Back feature each week. Here’s an update on his health.
Dear Readers,
Many of you have expressed your concern and love for Bill during these past seven weeks that he has been hospitalized. I am writing this to acknowledge to all of you how much your phone calls, cards, e-mails, and most especially, your prayers have meant to us. It has both overwhelmed and humbled us that so many people have reached out to us and given us the strength and courage when we needed it the most.
Step by step, and day by day, Bill is slowly improving and recovering. He will be going to a rehabilitation facility in the near future. We are very hopeful that he will have a full recovery and be able to participate in all the activities he so enjoys.
Every day or so I am sending e-mail updates on Bill’s progress. If you would like to receive these updates you may e-mail me at connisews@comcast.net. If you wish to send him a card you may mail it to our home address: 3401 Arcadia Dr., Tuscaloosa, AL 35404.
Your support has been tremendous. You can not know how much this has touched us. We are so thankful for each and every on of you.
May God bless you.
Connie S. Stewart
