Ellis, Devereux to exchange vows Aug. 30
Joseph and Regina Ellis of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Maggie Colin Ellis, formerly of Decatur and Hartselle and now of Pelham, to Robert Patrick Devereux, formerly of Staten Island, NY and Palm Coast, Fla. now of Pelham. He is the son of Robert and Janice Devereux of Palm Coast, Fla.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Donald and Joanne Widrig of Edgewood, Ky. And the late Lydia and John Ellis Jr. of Chattanooga, Tenn.
A 2004 graduate of Hartselle High School, she graduated in 2006 from the Dental Assisting Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s School of Dentistry.
She is currently a junior at UAB.
She is employed with Narrows Family Dentistry of Birmingham.
The future groom is the grandson of Marguerite Devereux of Reston, Va. and the late Richard Devereux, Marie Gill of Palm Coast, Fla. and the late Francis Gill.
A 1999 graduate of St. Joseph Academy Catholic High School in St. Augustine, Fla., he received his doctor of pharmacy degree in 2005 from Samford University McWhorter School of Pharmacy.
He is a member of the Alabama Pharmacy Association, Jefferson County Pharmaceutical Association, Alabama Independent Drug Store Association, National Community Pharmacists Association, and the Rotary Club of Birmingham.
He is currently employed with Family Medical Services Inc., FMS Pharmacy, Bessemer.
The wedding is planned for Aug. 30, 2008, at Cathedral of Saint Paul, Birmingham.
