Funeral for Lucy Griffin, 86, of Morgan City was Tuesday, Feb. 12, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Kenneth Smith and William Hayes officiating.
Burial was in Rock Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Griffin died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008, at Parkway Medical Center. She was born March 22, 1921, in Morgan County to Arthur Oden and Mattie Livingston Oden. She was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church at Union Grove. She loved gardening and was preceded in death by her husband, O. D. Griffin and an infant son.
She is survived by a son, James Harold Griffin and wife Brenda of Union Grove; a daughter, Linda McMinemon and husband Mickey of Decatur; three grandchildren, Rhonda Ciszek, Christy Griffin Murphree and James Gregory Griffin; and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were James Gregory Griffin, Bobby Wayne Murphree, Richard Ciszek, Charles Oden, Richard Oden and Chris Knighten.
