Funeral for Edward F. Harris, 81, of Falkville was Friday, Dec. 22, at 2 p.m. at Salem United Methodist Church with the Revs. David Weaver and Harold Thompson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. Harris died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2006, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was a member of the Shriners and Salem United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Jean Harris.
He is survived by two daughters, Betty Hampton of Falkville and Linda Cox of Lewisburg, Tenn.; a brother, Bobby Harris of Hartselle; a sister, Dorothy Harris Corder of Ardmore; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Rusty Harris, Jeff Harris, Johnny Harris, Jason Harris, Michael Segars and William Harris.
Honorary pallbearers were Jay Harris and Ron Shryock.
