Sara Willodene Speegle Sharp

Funeral for Sarah Willodene Speegle Sharp, 72, of Somerville was Wednesday, Oct. 4, at 2 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Revs. Harlon Hood and Charles Owens officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Sharp died Monday, Oct. 2, 2006, at Crestwood Medical Center. He was born Oct. 19, 1933, in Morgan County to Tommy Raymond “TR” Speegle and Lena Elizabeth Keel Speegle. She was retired from Avco Electronics where she worked as a supervisor. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, Shiloh Silver Saints and the choir. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother who served her Lord faithfully.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Dewey Speegle and Bobby Speegle Sr.; and a sister, Barbara Faye St. John.
She is survived by her husband, Ferrell V. Sharp of Somerville; four daughters, Becky Kimbrell and husband Don of New Holland, S.C., Jennie Taylor and husband Kenneth of Decatur, Debbie Iddins and husband Nick of Somerville and Sherry McCutcheon and husband Steve of Athens, Ga.; four sons, Dudley Sharp and wife Vickie of Hartselle and Jeffery Sharp, Michael Sharp and Darrell Sharp, all of Somerville; four sisters, Helen Cox of Orlando, Fla. and Rilla Lott, Edna Henson and Alene Briscoe, all of Decatur; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were nephews.
