Aug. 24, 1956 —Coaches Tony Daniel and J. P. Cain met with candidates for the 1956 edition of the MCHS Tigers for the first time this afternoon. Regular practice will begin on Monday. Aug. 30, 1956 -At long last Hartselle residents will be available to have a convenient source for getting information about their favorite television programs. TV Guide is now available for sale at local drug stores.
Aug. 30, 1956 —The movie “Rock Around the Clock” with Bill Haley and his Comets has caused bumper to bumper auto traffic during its current run at the Ranch Drive-in Theatre.
